The Suriname Business Development Center (SBC) was established to perform as the executive office of the Suriname Business Forum.<\/p>\n<p>The Suriname Business Center especially aligns on:<\/p>\n<p lang=\"nl-NL\">1. creating an opportunely enterprise climate for the development of the Local Private Sector (LPS)<\/p>\n<p lang=\"nl-NL\">2. promoting the <span lang=\"en\">entrepreneurship<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">The main<\/span> <span lang=\"en-GB\">goal is<\/span> <span lang=\"en-GB\">sustainable and innovative<\/span> <span lang=\"en-GB\">development of the local private sector(LPS)<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">One of its legal duties is to<\/span> formulate the National strategy for development of the LPS.<\/p>\n<p>In this context SBF wrote the National strategy and a National strategic action plan for development of the local private sector, in which the focus is on 6 core areas being:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A modern and harmonized legislation conducive to the development of the LPS<\/li>\n<li>Increase of investments in the LPS<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening competitiveness LPS<\/li>\n<li>Development of sustainable growth sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Improvement government services to <span lang=\"nl-NL\"> LPS<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Strengthening Public -Private- Dialogue (PPD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p lang=\"nl-NL\">Read more<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_wp_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1491566028477{padding-top: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_wp_text]The SBF was established by law on the 18th of October 2006 and is a permanent platform for dialogue between the public and the private sector.
